Goulds garage Formula Ford Team
Goulds garage is based in Yate, in the south west of England as the team entrant for myself, James Gould.
The team is preparing a 1984 Van Diemen RF84 Formula Ford Kent (crossflow) class FF1600 car with engine preparation from Revolution racing.
Goulds Garage as an entrant, was originally formed (see team history page) by my grand father, the late Horace Gould, who competed successfully in multiple Grand Prix & International races during the 1950's. The team was an extension of his Bristol car dealership, which was often the case with British racing teams of that period.
In the 1960's the Gould name continued to grace European racing events with my father Martin Gould taking the driving seat in Formula Junior.
My first exposure into motorsport was as a regular spectator at Silverstone. This was where I first saw Formula Ford in the 1980's. A
